At Credence High School, we strive to create a happy environment where students always love to learn. Our students learn by exploring a well-structured and dynamic CBSE curriculum.
Our educators aim to equip students with important 21st century skills such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence, social intelligence and resilience, preparing them to face the future, whatever it may hold. In addition to academic excellence, we nurture the personal development of our students, encouraging them to explore their full inner potential. At Credence High School, we are nurturing a generation of productive, contributing, accomplished members of society who are carving their own unique paths.
Credence Early Childhood Curriculum
The Early Childhood Curriculum is full of love, inquiry, curiosity, exploration, discovery, practical experience and life skills. The classrooms are bright and spacious with bathroom facilities and children are supported by highly qualified teachers and caregivers. The rich curriculum is a blend of EYFS, Montessori and Regio. Children learn through structured play planned around seven interrelated areas of learning and development. Children are carefully guided through Focus Centers, Literacy, Numeracy, Understanding the World, STEAM.
Primary Curriculum
The curriculum at the Primary stage is lively and designed to meet the needs of all students. We aim to develop creative, confident and curious learners who are ready for the next stage of learning at the end of the Primary stage. To ensure that learning is meaningful and to increase opportunities to apply knowledge, skills and understanding in real life, highly qualified subject teachers link the curriculum wherever possible. Activities are carefully planned and implemented to maximise first-hand experiences and respond to children's learning strengths.
Middle School Curriculum
The Middle School Curriculum provides students with a broad and balanced understanding of subjects including language, mathematics, science and social sciences, enabling students to communicate effectively, analyze information, make informed decisions, construct a worldview based on constitutional values, and move towards becoming productive citizens. Our focus is on developing cognitive skills in a learning environment where each student feels independent, safe and comfortable. We have adapted the curriculum so that children feel more connected to the curriculum and apply their learning in real life. We ensure that children gain adequate knowledge and skills in other core areas such as health and physical education, life skills, values education, arts education, work education and other extracurricular areas. In an operational sense, Credence’s Middle School curriculum is learner-centered and school is a place where students acquire various skills; building self-concept, enterprising spirit, aesthetic taste and sportsmanship. Therefore, in order to develop the core competencies of learners, the curriculum covers the main areas of learning both academic and extracurricular.
The school covers an area of 2.8 hectares (7 acres) with a built-up area of 25,700 square feet. Located off Sheikh Zayed Road, behind Al Khail Mall, the school has spacious facilities that accommodate a library, laboratories, music and dance halls, an auditorium, a swimming pool and a multi-purpose hall. The sports facilities on the 7-acre campus are state-of-the-art and are also staffed with coaches and trainers.
The school has a Student Union that manages student activities. The Student Union members include elected students who are responsible for different sports, literary and cultural activities. The Student Union organizes the UAE Quiz Masters, an annual inter-school quiz competition that attracts contestants from other schools in the UAE.
