Introduction to Education System

The school provides daytime education for students aged 3-18 and boarding education for students aged 11-18. The school not only offers students an IB (International Baccalaureate) with 45 optional courses, but also offers a full range of IGCSE (General Certificate of International Secondary Education) courses. Six months after the opening of the senior children's school section, the school was awarded the IB (International Baccalaureate) international school qualification. Among 2590 IB international schools in 134 countries around the world, Repton is one of the three schools that obtained this qualification in a short period of time.

The academic system of Dubai Repton School is divided into three semesters, with September December being autumn, January April being spring, and April June being summer. The school adopts the British education system, with British education for grades 11 and below. The IB system is adopted for grades 12 and 13.

The subject settings are divided into three categories. The curriculum for students in grades 7-9 (6-8) is equipped with mandatory courses (mathematics, English, science) and elective courses. 9th grade (8th grade) students will choose the two-year IGCSE (General Certificate of International Secondary Education) course after completing all guided courses. After obtaining the IGCSE (General Certificate of International Secondary Education), students in 11th grade (10th grade) who score B or above in at least six courses will advance to the sixth level to complete all IB (International Diploma) courses.
